Over the years Edinurgh Brass Band have been invited to play at everything from film premiers, to garden parties and a whole host of interesting and exciting stuff in between.

During Edinburgh's busy festival month the band take a break from rehersals starting back, newly refreshed, in September.

To Absent Friends Concert

1st November 19:30, St John's Episcopal Church

Edinburgh Brass Band have performed a free concert as part of the To Absent Friends festival every year since it launched.

Taking inspiration from and honouring absent friends, Edinburgh Brass Band will perform a selection of reflective and inspiring music. This year's concert will be in the band's home venue, St John's Church in Edinburgh's West End. The church provides the perfect backdrop and a stunning acoustic for this performance.

Tickets will be available later in the year.

Music for Christmas

6th December 19:30, St John's Episcopal Church

The wonderful warm sound of a brass band is always one of the highlights of the festive period so unsurprisingly, this is typically the band's most popular concert of the year. You can expect some traditional favourites, a few carols to sing, and of course one or two surprises along the way.

Tickets will be available later in the year.

During December smaller groups of band members perform all over the city. We'll post details of all our engagments here as soon as they are finalised.
If you're interested in booking the band to perform at an event in December please get in touch. We typically book up pretty fast so do contact us as early in the year as you can.
